Teaching Support – Staff Contacts

The Teaching Staff of the ChiBioFarAm Department, composed of a team of Technical-Administrative personnel, acts as an interface between students and the Degree Program. The main activities carried out, aimed at achieving full student satisfaction, are designed to address the various needs students may encounter during their academic journey. The main activities include:

  • Providing information, assistance, and advisory services to students. In particular, an academic advisor has been assigned to each Degree Program.
  • Assistance with the initiation procedures for internships and traineeships;
  • Participation in meetings with representatives from the professional world to discuss the alignment of Degree Program educational activities with the needs of the labor market;
  • Periodic monitoring of students’ academic progress to gather useful information, such as the number of credits (CFU) earned after each exam session, in order to identify potential issues and propose corrective actions to Quality Assurance (QA) groups and Degree Programs;
  • Extraction from ESSE3 and processing of data related to students’ background, academic path, and outcomes;
  • Support in the preparation of the Annual Single Report (SUA-CdS) and the Cyclical Review of Degree Programs;
  • Analysis of feedback from students who have completed internships and from the host organizations;
  • Entry of courses and their assignments into the U-Gov teaching platform;
  • Support to the International Mobility Unit in the preliminary verification of Learning Agreements for incoming ERASMUS students, in order to ensure consistency between the proposed study plan and the courses actually offered in the relevant semester;
  • Entry of class schedules into the UP platform and support to lecturers regarding changes or cancellations of classes;
  • Entry of exam sessions (course exams and final degree exams) into the ESSE3 platform;
  • Collaboration with the Director, Coordinators, and lecturers in the planning, management, and monitoring phases of teaching activities of the Degree Programs;
  • Preparation of classroom allocation plans, class schedules, and exam calendars;
  • Organization and support during the implementation of seminars organized by the various Degree Programs; attendance tracking and issuance of certificates to students;
  • Registration (protocol) of minutes from Degree Program Councils and documentation related to teaching activities;
  • Involvement in orientation activities at entry, during studies, and at graduation;

The Teaching Staff also works in synergy with other operational units such as the Student Administration Office, the Technical Secretariat for IT Systems and Services (CIAM), Student Representatives, General Services, the University Orientation and Placement Coordination Unit, the Orientation and Tutoring Committee, and those responsible for communication through publication on the Department and Degree Program websites.

It is also interconnected with the Department’s Teaching Focus Group, which annually promotes and organizes initiatives for the benefit of students enrolled in Degree Programs belonging to the ChiBioFarAm Department.
