The University of Messina is strongly committed to supporting students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties (SpLD), providing dedicated services and initiatives aimed at facilitating full participation in university life and promoting inclusion.
Examinations
Students with disabilities are entitled to appropriate alternative assessment arrangements and, where necessary, the support of assistants for autonomy and/or communication, depending on the nature and extent of their disability.
Examinations may be taken using the specific assistive tools required by the student. The University provides appropriate technical and educational support, as well as access to specialised tutoring services where available, subject to available resources and in agreement with the course lecturer.
