This laboratory is dedicated to practical and experimental training activities and to the teaching of principal synthesis and analytical techniques in the fields of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and food chemistry. The principal activities involve organic synthesis, followed by purification, recovery, and characterisation of organic compounds through spectroscopic data analysis.
The laboratory is equipped with: 2 chemical fume hoods; Gas Chromatograph (mod. NEXIS GC 2030, Shimadzu); Air Generator; Nitrogen Generator (mod. Hygen 600, Claind Brezza); HPLC system (Shimadzu) with specific accessories; Titrator (mod. Titrando 888, Metrohm); Rotary Evaporator (Heidolph) with vacuum pump (Deltek DK); 5 magnetic heating stirrers.
